Because each wedding is so unique, it is hard to say an average for all weddings. It is very individualized. The average bride and groom spend roughly 8-10% of their total wedding budget on flowers.

Flowers for a wedding can be as intimate as a bridal bouquet and a groom’s boutonniere or as ornate as you desire.

Pricing estimates can vary depending on what is in season, the complexity of the designs you choose, how far I must travel and the amount of people attending the event.

As a designer I love finding unique, oddball containers to work with. I find myself frequently at tag sales and antique shops exploring around for containers. If you ask me, anything can be used! We have distinct collections of antique candle holders, vases and other floral props for our clients to use.

When I can, I buy from local growers throughout Connecticut and the New York area. My favorite place to shop is the local CT Flower Collective during the growing season, as well as my own backyard! My family has an ever expanding cut flower collection. You want local? Can’t get any better than your own backyard.
